I have seen statistics showing 48 gun deaths in Germany, 43 in Japan and over 10,000 in the US to support gun control laws.
There are a few statistics that I would like to know.
Per capita, is the rate of robery, assult, murder and violent crimes rate lower or higher in areas with the least restrictive gun laws?
There is no doubt that legal guns filter into the hands of criminals through theft, black market sales and so on. All guns in this country leave the factory as legal guns. So does the number of guns on the market help criminals obtain guns or does it make them affraid of encountering a gun when committing a crime, thus prevent crime?
Should there be a competence test for gun ownership like a driving test?
