I like to go to the gun range myself, but I lack the capacity to deny that the reasons guns exist is that someone somewhere designed them to kill someone else.

Along the way, recreational uses have been developed. And that's fine with me.

All I was saying was, although I agree with a lot of Geo's post, the analogy is flawed because it compares apples to oranges.
