But really when either go so far as to harm another party it has just gone to far (and that should violate the 1st). The Westboro Baptist church is an example of too far, so are fully automatic machine guns.

That brings up the argument that comes up that criminals will always subvert gun control laws. Fully automatic weapons are tightly controlled and mostly illegal. Criminals do not subvert these controls and laws. So does gun control work? Imagine a full auto. Yet if you live 10 miles from the nearest patrolman should you be left on your own.

I am not going to be this all or nothing proponent. No guns at all vs give me a 30 round clip or give me death.
I took the CCDW class and I was never told it was ok to shoot because you did't like someone's freedom of speech. If they threaten you with a "I'm gonna kill you!" And come at you with a knife or gun then you have to defend yourself but even then it better be a last resort.
Westboro folks make me sick but they have a right to protest and folks have a right to protest them. You seem very happy to bend or ignore rules if they make you feel better. That's a problem because once you start that cherry picking of which phrase to remove or what to enforce you make things worse. Jmo. Are you an attorney by chance??
Are you saying a 30 round clip is bad? Even when used on a semi auto?? But two 15 round clips are fine? Three 10 round clips are fine? I'm not a professional shooter but I can drop a clip and reload a clip in seconds while walking. Or I can have several guns ready to go. How about a shotgun that holds 9 slugs or 9 rounds of buckshot?? At what point does one stop trying to control???
