Put in at Moutardier around 8:15 A.M.. It was slow early down the lake near the dam. Caught only one small fish on a Hotlips crankbait before noon; nothing on a jig. Once the sun got up and warmed the surface a couple degrees caught one seventeen inch keeper and a lot of twelve to fourteen inch fish shallow on a Strike King 5X. Then nothing again until around 4 P.M. when I started dragging a shaking head in thirty-foot of water. Caught another keeper and very near keeper within a cast or two. When I say dragging, i mean dragging. Wasn't giving the magnum trick worm on shakyhead any action; just dragging it. The bite felt like the rod was loading up.

Water temp was 49 A.M. to 51 in P.M.
Water was clear near the dam as you'd expect and stained in the mid lake area. Of course this was Wednesday beforen this cold front through.

Oh, the ramp talk at the end of the day, seemed like everyone was catching lots of short fish and at least one two to three pound keeper. Best of Luck. Please report back if you fish anywhere. We don't want to know your secret bait or honeyhole (FYI: there aren't any), we just want to know what's happening on the water.
