Cumberland river fishing help!!

Going to fish river this coming week. We will be putting in at turkey neck bend. I know very little about this river. Anyone have any tips about this area and what might be bitting now. Any good bait ideas just any help would be greatly appreciated. Hopefully some walleye or sauger... Thanks a lot

I live 4 miles from the dam and I don't know where turkey neck bend is. The sauger are hugging the bottom. You can try crappie jigs tipped with minnows or small spoons jigged off the bottom
