I know this is old, but it goes to show you what happens when an out of control government starts banning stuff.

This is a call from a doctors group to ban kitchen knives due to the deaths caused by large bladed butcher knives.

THIS is the slippery slope we're about to start down.

I agree 100% with you. Here are a few more reasons I cannot stand these Liberal agendas like gun control.
#1 this grandstanding by our fake leaders is political.
#2 they jump on this tragedy but drag their dang feet with anything else that's hard work.
#3 are they gonna ban pools next?? CDC says we have an average of 3533 deaths from 2005-2009 by drowning that's the #1 cause and was 29.5% of the accidental deaths with motor vehicle at #2 (26.9%).
Firearms deaths each year during that time frame was 1.1%!!! But it's an epidemic huh? Tragic yes but not deserving of the attention it's getting....it's the guns and control freaks who don't want law abiding folks to have them.
By the way....I was out yesterday shooting a bushmaster AR-15 with 30 round clips, Mossberg 903SPX semi-auto with 7 rounds of slugs, M&P .40 with 15+1 in the gun, State Highway Patrol issued .45 Gap Glock, CZP01 9mm high cap mag and other high cap pistols. None of us had the urge to do harm to anyone. Heck of the 50 folks that rolled through there we all had fun. The mix of people were successful Millionaire business owners, retired state patrolmen, young adults both men and women. Two fellas had full auto M5 (I believe) machine guns and they were spending some serious cash if you know what I mean. It just sickens me that with all that data about how safe guns are, all the locks and safes and laws in place and with all the millions of law abiding citizens out there who enjoy the freedoms that this country offers that we have to watch these freaking douchbags tear at us in retaliation to a mentally ill person. Typical idiots who cannot address the problem but takes the path of least resistance. What's worse is some people agree with them.
