If ya work it right, you may save some money with some legword at dealerships of the brands you like.
Ask them to check for any returning business lease vehicles. Ya have to be willing to wait some, and ya have to be willing to tell them the first time they call with anyhting other than a bonafide offer you'll dump them.
Years back (2004) I did this at Byerly Ford in Louisville. Told them generally what I was looking for. Ended up with what would have been a $34K 2003 Ford E150 loaded (leather, quad seats, video rear air, running boards etc) with 24 K miles, and remainder of 36/36K miles bumper to bumper left on it for $19K.
Business lease vehilce returning with excess mileage net the dealer som buck up front, and the 1st year deprecitaion plus the 24K miles for just a one year old vehilce reduces the price quite a bit.
Some dealers wil play games with ya so you got to stick to your guns or be prepared to walk. And I preped the dealer by telling him the only way he had a shot at my business was if he came thru on this plan.
PS: Not fast or easy, but can work.
