    Top water rig ?

    What would be a good topwater rig pole,reel,and line thanks for any info.

    Kind of depends on the type of top water your useing. If it's a buzzbait I'd say a 6'6'' or 7' medium action with 17lb mono and a 7:1:1 reel. For a spook or frog I'd say a 6' medium action with 17lb to 20lb mono and either a 7:1:1 or 6:1:1 reel. The reason for a shorter rod is for walking the dog type lures the shorter rod gives you better handleing of the lure.
