Actually - there are plenty of people - mainly evangelical Christians - who are willing to do just that. Often they have to wait 9 months to a year for even a domestic adoption to happen. The problem is not that there aren't good homes; the problem is, the kids are either aborted, or not put up for adoption.

I believe that is correct in as far as newborns are concerned... As kids get older it gets tougher to find homes for them when they are taken out of homes that are deemed unfit for some reason... I'm sure there are statistics if somebody wished to look but there are a good many kids in foster care that don't find their way into caring homes... A good many kids aren't put up for adoption at birth and end up in the system later... If all unwanted pregnancies were put up for adoption then it is doubtful abortion would be the issue that it is but unfortunately they are not... I believe it is a lot tougher to find homes for special needs babies and it seems the right to life crowd object to these abortions also.

Racial politics plays a big role in this, unfortunately. There's no easy answers.

This type of thinking is exactly why 1.2 million + babies are murdered each year! Typical bait and switch socialist bulls h it.

Please continue to blame everyone who oppose killing babies because they won't change their lifestyle due to the lack of
PERSONAL RESPONSIBILTY of others. To accuse those who oppose killing babies of wanting to see kids starve is ridiculous.

Never ever blame the one who continues to breed like rabbits, or scum, and gets tax payer funded abortions. Of course it's those evil, god fearing Christians fault. If you don't believe in PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY and preach it then shut the hell up.

And when personal responsibility fails and there is an unwanted child just how does chastising the parents for their irresponsibility help the child but you did your job by raising so much anti-abortion hell as to make it hard on the irresponsible adult that now you have another welfare loser that you hate so much...good job.... Apparently you have more feeling for the fetus than you do for kids already born.

What about steralizing the irresponsible parents, or would that interfere with their " right " to procreate? What about the rights of the child/fetus?
One of the problems with the kids in Foster Care is that the State wants to keep them in the system as long as they can. They would rather you become a foster parent than to have you adopt one out. Their "Department" loses money on every child adopted.

Are you actually advocating our government start forcing sterilization on people who are american citizens?.. With that line of thinking why don't we go one step farther and put an age limit on how long a person can continue to live if he happens to be drawing social security, doing one is just a hop-skip-and jump from the other.

    Obamacare does just that.

Hard to tell what might eventually come out of that piece of legislation but I doubt there is anything in there that mandates sterilization to reduce the population or gas chambers to get old folks off social security.

I'll be glad when the weather gets warm, we start fishing again, and we can go back to helping each other succeed.

But I have to admit it may not be as much fun.....
