Completely ridiculous. RTL's only concern themselves with actual CONCIEVED or FERTILIZED eggs as an actual pregnancy. If it was never fertilized you didn't kill anything.

I see abortion as a necessary evil when it comes to some rape's, incest, medical complications ect. I do NOT see it as a Oop's I messed up convenient way to avoid what you view as a mistake.

I agree, that argument is just about as silly as the argument right-to-lifers make when attempting to make it look like abortion doctors are reaching inside of the woman just before the baby is born and cutting it's throat or some nonsense like that, I won't try to deny that might be done in a situation where there are certain circumstances and no, I'm not going into what those circumstances might or might not be... Before marriage in a catholic mass, there are several classes you are asked to attend.Yes one of them concerns birth control.Most folks are knowlegible of the "rhythm method".In the case of some medical neccesitys it can be used as a form of birth control.Also as an aide to conception. I dont personaly know anyone who had an abortion. I have a niece who has a downs child, visited her for the holidays,That little girl would steal your heart.

Actually your opinion does mean something, no more than the women who desire to have abortions as they have as much protection under the legal system as the rest of us do regardless of what our opinions are... I actually have a lot of respect for folks like yourself, I do believe however folks like you and others have very little problem stepping on somebody elses rights as long as yours are protected.

A: I contend it's still better than having a unwanted child, or being a child that goes up for adoption and never knows who it's real parents were, or does know who they were and have to go thru years of counseling or weird behavior because of the psychological trama they may feel as either an unwanted, or neglected, or abandoned child. I know a couple people like that and quite frankly after putting up with them for years I'd be glad if Momma had pulled the pin.

With the line of thinking we see from the right-to-lifers, I don't understand why the babies that were 'denied' the right of being born by using condoms, pills, abstinence or any other type contraception aren't in the same predicament as aborted babies, the end result is the same as far as being denied the privilege of living.

Typical lefty garbage. FYI....not every sperm is alive. Age, genetics and lifestyle can dictate alot. A woman's egg is not a baby and a mans sperm is not a baby. I'm not gonna get into the details of how babies are conceived..geez. Come on man!

These abortions are taking place in america, we are a free nation with rights. Someone telling a woman she cant have an abortion because of what they "believe" or what they think is "right" is wrong and against her rights.

What about the baby's rights, who speaks for them? Don't see how anyone call a late term abortion anything but murder. A case could be made that early term abortions are no different.

I'm pro-choice in cases of incest or rape, but using abortion as a means of birth control is just plain wrong. Problem is having one without the other is not really feasible. A very sticky issue.

All things considered I would probably vote for keeping the abortion issue as it is.
