Thanks for the reply Steve, I really like Celina in the fall, I think it is one of the prettiest lakes I have ever been on about October. But that clear water does me in, I have the least luck there!

Can you key me in on a hot stop this time of year?

I love top water for bass along the grass points there in the summer mornings and evenings!

I had my best luck right across from the ramp for rock bass, but this past fall when I was there the water was too low for that to work out.

It is suppose to warm up and rain Thursday, maybe pretty hard, so I am sure Indian will be muddy. But I'm sure Celina will still be clear.

When isn't Celina clear haha. the only time I haven't been able to see 5+ feet is when there were a bunch of jellyfish in the water one year. As far as spots for bass, I would try around any rock I could find, and any wood that has sunlight hitting it. When I fished there last winter (granted it was a really warm winter), they were hitting normal early spring baits and in the same areas. (ripping lipless through grass and slow rolling colorado spinner through wood). also, if you have one, throw an alabama rig by the wood, just try not to get hung up too much! I would use small swimbaits or grubs on it. (nothing bigger than 3"). this will work for panfish as well.

We decided to hit Tucker Lake.

Water was very high after the rain the night before. Still some very thin ice on the shady side of the lake.

Water was pretty stained, with the ice I would say water was just above freezing wind was light to gusty at times.

Tried minnows, night crawlers and wax worms. No bits.

Not a bad day out on the water, just no fish.

Tried King's bridge but the water was to fast and muddy. Found a beaver den out of the current with fairly clear water. Caught a bunch of crappies but only one possible keeper. Tiny jigs under a bobber tipped with nibblets.

Did you go upstream or downstream at Kings Bridge?

Friday it looked pretty fast when we drove over it. It was nice to see the water UP in Patoka for a change!
