I would also take a freind along, last time I was there by myself I guess some of the other folks there knew I was alone and well away from my truck. Things almost got interesting. I'm not sure my mother would have been proud of me that day, but I caught fish and came home safe.
thanks and what do you mean by skip livebaiting. I have some skip jack and going for somecats I just need a good spot to go fr them

been fishin there for better than 20 years its hit or miss depending on if the river is rising or falling, how many tubines and which ones are running, when the whites are running I would use a 10 ft rod and tie a long deep diving crank bait on and carolina rig it with an egg sinker, about 2 ft of leader and make long cast accross the current and pull and reel fast and hard, caught 60 or better on occasion, we have caught a lot of fish from the bank, you just have to fish it a lot and learn it, I now fish it from a boat, the last 2 years and I am relearning to fish the whole area, the great thing is you can get a lot of good info from the forums, all the guys are great and very helpful, tyme and riverrat seem to be extremly knowledgeable, have learned a lot just reading their post, by the way thanks guys, and good luck.

Aw shucks, thank you. I just try to pass on what little knowledge I have about the river. Onemorecast56 really knows the river,he's just too bashful to post often.

I can't begin to thank the members here that have shared their knowledge with all of us.
