I just don't doubt the ability and desires of this potus to limit anything. I think if he wants to ban something he will and if it means tying the decision up in courts for years then he gets what he wanted anyway. The idea that just because civilian AR-15's are being called assault rifles bothers me. Full auto machine guns used to be the assault weapons and now anything that has plastic grips and parts that make it look like the military weapons are being put under the umbrella of assault weapons.
The original ban was for full auto assault weapons which are still banned unless you have a federal license /permit. I think?? I know of no one who has a full auto weapon. Of course they don't want to stop there, hicap clips are evil too. We are talking seconds or nano seconds to drop a clip and reload but yet we need to spend time, money and effort to pass a law to stop something that isn't even a problem.
This gun restriction possibility sure seems like a convenient disrtaction from our real problems in this country.
