Amen. People keep forgetting that. Drugs, rape, full auto weapons, drinking and driving, murder, assault and on and on are illegal.
Sure we need laws but my bet is if we actually enforced more of the broken ones we would not need new ones all the time. Does anyone actually believe that when the dictator reveals his new bill that gun violence will stop?? School, mall, post offices or whatever massacres will stop?? I'm willing to bet $100 it won't. I do not remember reading about it or hearing about it at the time, but you people probably remember better than I do. I hate to think this would even be possible but who knows. According to some information I came across the police and National Guard seized guns during Hurricane Katrina and this was done on orders of the New Orleans mayor not the POTUS. There were no warrants or court orders, just the mindless following of orders. What do you think would happen if the POTUS ordered it. Check it out on Youtube, under Katrina and gun seizure, and before anyone says that you cannot believe it because some of the videos are from the NRA, see the link below from the television news. Apparently the law and the National Guard were not upholding the constitution there. To me this is just crazy, police and the National Guard entering homes in the US with guns raised at the ready.

Well there are many who think it's ok to take away guns under the pretense of protection. It's just scary to think of this stuff. Little by little things are being done to us all and few seem to care. Now, take away free stuff from folks in this country and we have riots!!! Let some black person scream racism or some skank cry sexism over the cost of birth control and we have a major backlash across the country by liberals but start taking away rights of the common everyday middle class (most who are or will be affected by any order) and it's ok?? I see it as another straw that will eventually break the camels back.
I don't think they will ban weapons with the upcoming order. I think they will make it harder on me to enjoy guns and the shooting sports. They made me take a CCDW class to carry so I did. They will make more new laws and I will follow them but I will not just say oh well it's ok. I'm not one of the sheep that look toward them to feed and control me. The country is full of the sheep which is why this idiot was re-elected.
I'm looking forward to the day that those who put their head in the sand and say it's ok to just about everything the gubment does..... wakes up. What will it take? More taxes?? More restrictions??
I guess one thing that bothers me about this is that once these idiots zero in on a target they don't stop. First this upcoming order then another round of orders because the first one wasn't enough and then taxes on the remaining stuff because the other actions didn't work.
