    Colin Kaepernick

Anyone following this guy? He sure seems like a good guy that has been given a chance to show his stuff and is doing it. I love a story like his. Judged by his tattoos and talk of him being adopted by the media.....geez the guy is just another American living the dream...I hope they go all the way!

Harbaugh looks like a saint in picking Colin as the starter over Alex Smith.

I watched him play in college and never saw him making it as a NFL QB, and once again I was wrong....I thought he lacked the arm strength to make the downfield throws, I was wrong....I saw him outrunning college D's and didn't think he could do that against NFL players, I was wrong....I like watching him play and think the niners got a steal later in the draft, with 5 QB's selected ahead of him, including Jake Locker, Blaine Gabbert, and Christian Ponder....How many of those teams wish theyd selected him

He has one of the best arms I have seen in the play offs. His running could get hin hurt. lile the redskin guy. Sure wish he'd of signed with the cubs, but maybe he watched as they burned out woods. Its going to be fun watching him in the play off.

    Amazing football player.

Do not see a end to his potential.

Will be interesting to see what Defense coaches come up with this off season to defend this option read style play teams are going with.

What we are seeing here is the game changing due to rules changing. All the hitting rules have made it very soft for QB's.

If this were 1995 and Kaepernick were to take off on a run and get hit for real by a Kirkland, Newton or Greene type defender.... He would keep behind the line of scrimmage way more often than not.

Im not saying Kaepernick is a wimp that couldn't compete without all the hitting rules. I'm just saying that QB wears smaller shoulder pads, face mask, etc, than all other players and used to really take a beating when trying to run.
