Does any one have any tips for pulling the main drive gear off of the drive shaft of a Shimano Calcutta CT 100 baitcaster? They are supposed to slide right off but they never do. It is so difficult to pull these off that I gave up. Thaks in advance for your replys.

Just keep pullin! I've not found any tricks to doing this an easier way. While most gears slide right off, I've noticed that all reel brands and models will sometimes do this.
