    You also have to admire their dedication, lol

    The brothers will either repair or replace the boat, and don't plan on missing time away from the water.Greg Cherry said he already has plans to go fishing next week. "Fishing for me and my brother is a way of life," Greg Cherry said.

    I agree that incidents like this would give the COE ammunition but honestly, what would you have done differently?
    It's always pretty easy to throw names at people after the fact. Not very helpful, pretty negative and small minded, but easy.

    Poor guys, glad they made it out ok and just lost 1 fishing rod. Always nice when its a good ending.

    If that were me, I would have been leaning over the back of the boat with a big brown stain on my pants.

    Sounds like the idiot in the story was the bystander who asked if they needed help. Maybe not...just seemed comical to me.
