    Card basketball

Well let the mid season meltdown begin...Pitino has been OWNED as a coach for two games in a row now.

I would bench Chane Behanon and start Harrell. In fact until he wants to actually try I may never put him in the game. He is to short to play power forward in the upper tier of college ball. He plays under the basket, Hell I could strip the ball from him he has hands of stone. Kevin Ware is a complete waste of a uniform.

Why won't that pasta slingin guido develop more players???

I think they'll be all right. They looked awful last year most of the regular season and still made it to the Final Four. I like their chances better to get back there this year than I would have given them last season.

Last nights game was hard to watch, but I agree I think they will be alright. I hope they get out of this funk by Saturday. Mhall I also do not understand why RP pulls Blackshear or Harell when they are playing well. Chane is a good player he just sucked last night and deserved to sit on the bench,

Pitino needs to give that defense crap a rest and start recruiting guys that can actually score the basketball. The last time I checked it was the team with the most points that won the game, not the most steals. He gets way to caught up in that stuff sometimes. I like a good hard nosed defense but somebody has to be able to actually drop the ball through the hole.

Russ Smith is not going to carry them offensively every single night...

After wAtching duke get crushed tonight, i must say that college ball as a whole is down as far asi remember it. A top tier team like ul, duke, michigan, syracuse could easily be knocked out early. If were going to see a high seed win the whole thing. Ul has just as good of a shot as anybody at winning it all if they get hot at the right time

Hey.....you left Indiana out of that to Tier

I know what you mean though..........Indiana has lost two games to teams that play similar styles. If a team can figure out and slow down the half court and PICK Indiana's defense apart.........they win.

Indiana lost against butler and wisconsin.

They almost dropped to a few others that play that GREAT 1/2 court game.

I'm looking forward to the tourney this year. Lots of opportunity for mid majors to make a serious run.

I have always said that basketball throughout the country in the less known conferences is pretty strong. I wonder how Bellarmine would be if they were a D1 team.

    Later,

    Geo

Ul is in some kind of a funk for sure. They still have all the talent needed and will figure it out before tourney time. This is odd for a pitino coached team as they usually struggle preconference then find their groove in conference play. When siva gets right they'll go on a run
