Best 8lb mono for spinning reels?

I have been a Trilene XL man for spinning reels for as long as I can remember. But this year I am going to try something different, at least on a couple of reels. So what does everyone else use in 8lb? Never used fluoro or braid but open to anything.

PS I recently sent some reels to Reel Cleen. A couple of the, I thought, were toast. Well I was wrong he cleaned them up, and they are smoother than when they were new. If you need any reels cleaned or repaired I highly recommend REEL CLEEN.

Save some money and spool up with 12lb braid and just use a fluro leader about 7 foot long. You can use the same braid all year long all you need to do is buy a filler spool of 8lb. Fluro

Id always used pline or big game mono, then switched to seaguar invizx and was pleased. On a trip last fall i bought some sunline super mono and couldnt be any happier with it. Still have it spooled and the memory is considerably less than any other brand ive tried

Suffix is the best line out there in my opinion. They do some sort of G3 winding which helps remove line memory. It is smooth as any line you will ever put on. I do not like fluorocarbon lines as they seem to be a little too rigid. I used to use trilene XL exclusively after they quit making the photochromic. If you want a line that sinks like fluoro and doesn't have the same stretch as mono but is still durable. Suffix makes a cranking line. I didn't know what to think the first time I used it. I went out with SMLJAW on here and was casting at least 10-15 yards further than him, when we we're usually about the same. Once he saw the difference and bought his own, he now swears by it.

I will second the braid (Power Pro Super Slick) with mono leader. No line memory plus added distance on the cast.
