    hockey anyone?

Had at least a 1/4 " of ice on both our vechicles yesterday. Keep long handled scraper brushes in both of them. Had a new can of spray deicer in the car, but the trunk was froze solid. Let the dog out this morning, and watched her try to gather speed on the side walk,She was bewildered.

We had about the same but it was snow/sleet not ice. A small period of cold cold cold rain that froze some. I was hoping for some decent snow 2" plus would have been good for me. Regardless, the city was covered in salt and liquid spray they put down. Maxx (black lab) loves the snow and it's fun to watch him have a good time in it. All he did this time was make alot of yellow snow and brown mountains.

Don't tease me like that. This thread has nothing to do with the greatest sport played indoors. Or does it? The lockout's finally over, the Flyers finally won a game, and after 30 years of following them, I'm finally going to a game! 2/9 against Carolina, I can hardly wait. Too bad Hartnell's hurt, but it'll still be great!

    black hawks

I went to about a dozen games when I was much younger. Our next door neighbor was a season ticket holder, there wasn't that much{hockey during a fighting game}.And a lot fewer teams. We always had a hockey game during the winter week ends. Forked sticks, a crushed tin can, and no slap shots. A lot of falls, 9 or 10 players around the puck, some passing. It was a lot of fun, then sum SOB brought girls into our lives.
