I just hope Brian knew I was joking!!! He might be putting camo on his face and getting his Rambo gear on by now!! kidding of course.
In all seriousness visiting the capital is on my bucket list of things to do. I'll make it one day and from what I hear you wanna go more than once to see everything. Be safe man!!

Take the US Capitol tour and make sure to go to the old House floor. To stand where Henry Clay debated the Compromise of 1850 and the Missouri Compromise--there's a placard on the floor where his desk was--made this KY boy a little vaklempt.

Make it a priority, you won't be disappointed. Every citizen should visit DC at least once.

The shame is that I'm here for a convention and have very little spare time. I've only got Tuesday afternoon free before an early flight back Wednesday morning.

I want to make it to the Capital Building and a few of the monuments. The museums and longer time commitments will have to wait until next time...

On my only trip there, a person was shot out on the sidewalk across from where we were staying. We saw them lying there bleeding.

Now granted I was staying in a not so nice part of town as we were on a mission trip. But still.
