buck sez that the fish come shallow 2 times a day to feed and then they go home (depths) could be that feeding was over and they went back deep, maybe you could have picked up a few more going deep, just a thought, don't know what you tried, have you guys tried the new app for smart phones called my fishing adviser by north american fisherman? it works extreamly well, me and my daughter went to taylorsville to crappie fish, we checked the app and it said where and when we should try for crappie and that the bite would taper off at about 1030 and that is about the time they shut down.
