    Squirelly Boat Security

Boat security is always an owner's concern. I noticed a little invader visting my boat. I decided it was time to investigate. Here's what I found in what was my nice bow anchor compartment. The little guy had apparently staked out his claim and began the remodeling process in the real estate he decided to claim jump. World to the wise, it's that time of year for the guys in the little grey suits, so keep and eye on the boat!
First pic shows the perpetrator, the building materials he brought, and the interior rennovations he decided to do. Note...squirrels see anchor ropes as raw material for making insulation. Second pic is the before shot.

    Got it!

Good idea.......I've been sued by the family, but will stick to my second amendment rights. I defended my boat.

That's funny. Like Ray Steven's song "The Mississippi Squirrel Revival."

Try useing mothballs. After every season I take some old butter tubs and fill them with mothballs and put them in all the compartments. Poke holes in the lids and set them in the bottom of the compartments. It will also help keep out mice...
