Update...I'm not getting anything I have recently searched for. I am getting car, fishing and fishing equipment ads. Just had one on early signs of Parkinson's disease??
When I posted my cabinet for sale, I started getting TV stand ads
When I spent time researching lumber costs, I'm now getting wood flooring ads.
So, if you all don't want to start seeing Victoria Secret ads, then someone has to step up to the pump and pay for my Penthouse subscription.

For those that are interested, there are ways around targeted advertising, at least if you're running Firefox or Chrome (and if you're using IE, you deserve what you get). First off, there are AdBlock addons available for both browsers. But they both also have ones that are specifically designed to block the targeted ads. The one for Firefox is called Targeted Advertising Cookie Opt-Out, or TACO, and the one for Chrome is a web extension you can get here:Google offers Chrome extension to opt out of targeted Ads | ZDNet
