I was on the river yesterday, the 4th, caught a few White Bass (10 or so) and a Sauger. It is up and running good, I got there early, but if I had to do over, I think I would fish for Crappie during the day, down river in the mouths of the creeks and then jig for Sauger later in the after noon. But if you do Jig for Sauger and hook a Claris Rod with a Orange reel on it, I would love to have it back. The water temp was 44. I never went any futher then the dam area.

The whites were caught on a #5 Broken Back Shad Rap, shad color.

Sauger was on a Blade Bait.

I had minnows out all day and never got a hit on them
