What is wrong with the lake? Is it just wood debris? Is it the whole lake or just around the ramps? Thanks

Rough River Lake
Update on Boat Ramps: We worked yesterday cleaning North Fork and the State Park Boat ramps. We are finally able to reach the area on North Fork ramp that was causing boaters so much difficultly yesterday. It should be cleared by 10 am today. State Park ramp is looking ok just try to launch in the middle or close to the rock bluff. One at a time launching is highly recommended.
If you are not familiar with the creek and river channels please use extreme caution and slow down when navigating Rough River Lake.
Some fisherman reported the crappie are nice!!
Lake and River Level Update 8 February at 7:10 am:
Lake level was 470.76 ft (winter pool is 470 ft)
Discharge was 727 cfs
Rough River at Dundee was 11.87 ft
What is wrong with the lake? Is it just wood debris? Is it the whole lake or just around the ramps? Thanks
They are drawing it down to the original winter pool which is 470 instead of 475 we have seen for the last 8-10 years. With that they are clearing the silt build up off the State and North Fork ramps.
Thanks for the info. I do remember reading that they were going to lower Rough more this winter. Are they fixing the dam?
