I realize NC is bad this year but they actually toyed with them, it was a a complete azz wippin..

Louisville is done, they will win one game in the dance and go home. Just anothet year that could have been under Pitino. He'll never retire either we are stuck with that SOB forever.........................Sigh

I haven't gave up and never will but try to be realistic. Louisville has no way in Hell of reaching the Final four with these misfits. Yes I agree Pitino is MOST of the problem. He is SO overrated as a X's and O's coach.... When was the last time he won a close game, I can't even remember......GAWD please retire!!!

Tell us how you really feel Mark. Don't sugar coat it, just say it.

In a year of parity there are 4 teams and only 4 teams with a shot at winning it all. In no particular order Michigan because they have some athletes that are led by the best point guard and possibly player in the country Trey Burke. Throw in Hardaway to make up the best back court in college and who knows. IU because they have the best all around talent. Miami because they are beating everybody. And wait for it, wait for it the University of Kentucky Wildcats. So I only think there are 3 teams with a shot but I can't leave out the Big Blue, who I will have winning it all in my Fishin.com pool.

If UK wins it all this year, I'd put 1 dollar on it in vegas.........turn that one dollar in to about a million

Here's the thing.....you NEVER know who is going to step up in tourney and help win it.

Someone stepping up IU/Maryland, and IU hangs another banner.......Smart NOT stepping up and Knight exits IU much sooner than he did.

KY can get hot.......it would take some miracles, but hey, THEY have a pretty good x/o guy and reasonable talent.
UL can still get hot........again longshot, but hey who knows.

I don't discount any of the serious teams come tourney time. It is a different time, and the right circumstances can lead to some interesting games.

I do want Indiana to win it all, but that is also a long shot if you ask me. They have GREAT talent, but there are serious chinks in the armor, and the right team, taking away Indiana's best assets wins, and wins big.

1 of the 3 games we have lost should have been wins, the other two were clearly WINS by the other team due to specific game plans that fundamentally broke down Indiana.

Bottom Line.........the tourney will be pretty fun this year.

    Later,

    Geo

I think this will be one of the best tournies in years because after the first round there ahouldn't be any blowouts. Judging from the rest of the year, all 1 seeds should be gone after the sweet 16. I think iu and ul have just as good a shot to win it as anybody. Itll come down to who gets hot.
