Below Wolf Creek Dam Fishing Report

Spent Saturday up next to the dam fishing. Nine boats below the dam with no accidents .White bass hitting gulp bait good.Cleaned 70 for the weekend.

What kind of gulp bait were you using? Catch any sauger ,walleye or trout?

1 nice walleye, 1 nice sauger,2 rainbows. All caught on 3 inch watermelon pearl minnow. We went for sager and walleye but they weren't there yet or had lockjaw. We couldnt fish the turbines , like we usually do, so they were probably there. Found whites setting on a current break and fishing was great in that one spot

Thats in Russell Spring, about 20 minutes to dam, NOT state park
