Cabin Fever

I'm so sick and tired of winter, ready for spring to get here so I can go fishing. Doesn't make things any better that I bought a new boat and have to walk past it in the garage every day because I hate cold weather, let alone fishing in the cold. Anyone else getting anxious for spring? It'll be here soon! Just can't get here soon enough!

Yeah. I've been working on the boat as a diversion from the fever. Fixing every little thing I can find. That way I know when the weather breaks I'll be ready to put the lines in the water and focus on catching fish and not boat problems.

Cold weather is the best bass fishing time there is. You can rip a jerkbait all day and never get tired.

I probably am missing out on some decent fishin, I just hate going when it's colder than 45-50, I hate the cold and just don't enjoy the fishing as much. I've been a few times in the winter, but it was a really slow bite and I thought it was miserable in the cold and not catching many fish. May be because you have to use different presentations in the winter and I'm just not used to it so I don't know those different presentations. Anyway, I can't wait for warmer weather, should be right around the corner!!

Yep missed my first real big one of the year last Fri.lol Left my 10\0 's at home and the only bait I could get was buffalo so the 9\0 couldn't get the job done...just to much meat and that was after a 12 count grrrr,felt him for a minute though.Chuck

cabin fever is usually costly for me. I get catalogs galore in the mail. Got to have this, better make sure I have a couple of those, never tried this color before so I'll take one of those too. $$$$$$$$

My fishing buddy said for lent you have to give up something you like and is close to your heart if you are a Catholic so he gave up the church and became a Methodist but hey I still fish with him.

I don't give it up for lint but a lot of it sure gathers a lot of lint
