Thanks for the information on spoons. Never threw one but I keep hearing a lot of people talk about them.

You can fish a spoon just like a jerkbait! To answer any other ways to fish it you can get creative just like you would with any other lure. Find the retrieve they want. Pop, pop, pop, drop is my favorite. Sexy spoons are nice but expensive. Trust me all you need is the flash!

Do you need to use a O-ring or swivel with a spoon. And how is the hit, will you hook into them when you make your next jerk or what?

Typically you feel them hit and youll just reel down and set. Sometimes theyll just catch it on the fall and your next rip will hook em. And yes the sexy spoons are pricey but theyre good. Ive started throwing the lake fork spoons

Usually i would use a swivel to cut down on line twist. And would normally use it during the post spawn when the fish have moved to deeper water.

I use a 5" Sexy Spoon, o-ring on the spoon with a 2-way ball bearing swivel on the o-ring then attached to 17 or 20lb Flouro. The Spoon will not fall the same twice in a thousand casts plus line twist is none.

The sexy spoon will also catch some very large catfish. And when they hit it you will know it.
