Thought I would post this since the rule doesn't specifically state anything about umbrella rigs. Copy of email below:
The emergency rule that allowed 5 hooks on an umbrella/Alabama rig expired at the end of 2012. The long-standing two hooks or baits per pole applies again to umbrella/Alabama rigs. They remain legal to use but must not have more than two hooks.

What is the rule on the Alabama rig, or any umbrella-rig style bait in Indiana for 2013? The current fishing guide makes no direct ruling and uses the previous wording on the subject. Does the change in the rule from last year that expired on January 1, 2013 extend to this year?There are quite a number of anglers wanting this issue addressed.Thank you.
