It was an ICBM.....Inter Cosmic Ballistic Meteor
So here's how we make the best of this occurence. We find a 30 mile square area dominated by the Talibon.
Monday NASA releases a statement it's tracking a meteor of dangerous size headed for earth. NASA hints satelites it has passed in deep space sensed some trace radioactivity readings.
Tuesday at 8 a.m. we launch a high orbit nuc missile aimed for the area.
Tuesday 10 a.m.NASA reports the meteor collision with earth is imminent in the middle east.
Tuesday 1030 a.m.: The "meteor" hits the designated target. NASA and CNN report the impact.
Wednesday afternoon, NASA releases the radiation readings at the impact sight and theorizes the sun's radiation may have been transmitted and trapped in the meteor.
Same day, the Russians make a news statement they have found trace radiation in the area where their meteor exploded to add credence to our story. (Thursday...we wire $1 billion to the Russians with a thank-you note).
Friday...NASA reports seeing more deep space objects headed toward earth, can't determine the impact time, but states based on earth orbit, and the tilt of the earth, all impacts are likely to be in the Middle East over undetermined dates for the next few years. NASA pledges to continue tracking.........
