crappie, bite starting below the dam on Barren River this week end and as added attraction we have some eagles roosting down there this year there is one older bird with no mate who likes to watch others fish. awesome thing to see and as if to show off every time we saw someone land a fish he would fly down the river and back up simply swoop down and pick up a snack with no trouble. Saw some really nice slabs and a lot of just legal fish. Going from the bank today, anyone have a small motor for sale can't go 1000 for a 14' 40 year old jon boat.
