    Which gear ratio for jigs and t rigs??

    Getting ready to buy 2 reels for jigs, t rigs and c rigs. Which ratio would you guys recommend 6:5 or 7:1. thanks

    I like the 7:1 that way if I'm flipping brush I can yank em' outta there real fast and also retrieve my slack quicker.

    7:1. You want to be able to take up the slack quick when setting the hook or to be able to catch up to a fish running at ya

    either will work perfectly fine, but 7:1 is definitely my choice.
