    Navionics Web APP

    Hey,

If you guys wanted to "see" what the Navionics Map chip is all about, here is a navionics web app that basically allows you to view waterways all over the world in pretty **** good detail.

Also, pretty much every lake in the states is on it.

That's pretty cool. I looked at some of the lakes in Florida I grew up fishing. Brought back memories.

For very small lakes that you have a map for, this is a GREAT way to get one. Blow up the areas you want, Alt-Print SCR to print your screen to a bitmap....then take that bitmap and cut out the pieces you want, and use mspaint to "paint" together a map.

Works GREAT for small lakes, that you cannot get a map for .

What would really be awesome is if somehow they had an option to coordinate the time of year with the water levels. I am not a software guy, but it seems like it wouldn't be too hard to have a program that would do that.

You can change that in the software. NOT completely, but you can change the depth range in the software that controls the shades of blue.
