Take a right out of Wax, go under the bridge. Stick to the right and fish the entire along the right side. Big horse shoe, where the two islands are. Lots of good deep rock walls all up though there.

I pull crappie and bass out of there in 30* weather.

I'm using a 5/8 oz head with a 7 inch green pumpkin/chartruse straight tail worm and pitching it around timber, logs and rock. I was catching them in 5 to 7 feet of water.

Much appreciated man, coming up there in 2 weeks to open my place up and planning on wetting a line. I've got some shakey heads but never seem to use them LOL. I'll definitely give em a spin now though!

If the water is in the low 50's break out the rapala shad rap or similar crankbait and work around rock transition banks and maybe pitch a tube or jig around any wood during the day.

What's your favorite colors for nolin? I prefer anything chrome in cranks, white on jigs and spinnerbaits, and craw for plastics.
