    And Number 1 falls again........

Minnesota is really better than their win/loss shows.......

When Indiana has an off night, they lose........We WIN against teams in the Big 10 that I think we're going to lose and we lose to Minnesota and Illinois......games we definitely should win.

    Tough LOSS tonight.

    Later,

    Geo

Teams always play with more intensity against the #1 ranked team.

I must be getting senile in my advancing years as I'm actually cheering for I.U these days.

Yep this is another example of an exciting tournament in march. Anyone can be beat on a given day.

Minnesota got absolutely drilled by Iowa and Ohio State the last 2 by a combined 47 points. Watford and Zeller basically never showed up and Minnesota ran over them on the boards like IU had nobody taller than Mugsy Bogues. IU spit the bit in the Second Half and should have won this game. They keep playing like this and it makes the chances of my Kentucky Wildcats going Back to Back easier.

I think Indiana is still the favorite as much as I don't want to see them win it ;-)

That being said, they really did have an off game last night. Minnesota didn't even look that impressive at times and IU couldn't put them away.

LOL Does an NIT title this year count as back-to-back?

Technically YES, back to back post season titles. I am like Ricky Bobby in this years NCAA bracket pool, First or Last. When I pencil in my beloved Wildcats winning it all I will either be first or last in the bracket challenge.

Here is how I see it. Poythruss, Goodwin and WCS have not met expectations or played very hard in my opinion up to the TN loss. People start talking about how the season was over no NCAA and such after Noel went down. These 3 start seeing players like Trey Burke and Oladipo, rated after them in the NBA draft still playing well and their teams assured of a NCAA bid and deep run at that. These 3 has their stock start dropping after the TN blowout. Stock drops, $$$$$ drops, possible guaranteed first round contract going bye bye so they decided to play some ball. These 3 have to go pro because they will be competing with guys of equal or better talent next year for minutes so time to start playing and go pro for guaranteed money or D League time.
