Does anyone know if Cabelas is open in Louisville yet. I feel like my insurance agent did his best to take care of me with this situation. The Boat insurance now I don't feel reel good about but we will see what they come up with. I will give them a full review when settled.
Let me be clear..........

NOTHING wrong with being wrong and missing stuff...but jacking up the price to cover the deductible, or buying 15 dollar baits, turning in the receipts, and taking them back and buying something is unethical, immoral, and THEFT.

NOT implying anything here.

ON another note.....I had lots of my stuff stolen a few years ago. I went through the stolen stuff, and created a list of replacement costs from BPS. When I called my agent, they asked if I would accept exact replacement products provided through their national claims service. I said sure....anything to save some money.

Long story short. I had provided the correct documentation, and then the agents and claims processors saved about 40% off the actual prices I got quoted from BPS. THE Claim covered my losses through BPS, yet, I had the claims adjuster order every single piece of equipment for me. NOT only did I pay less than the claim amount, but they cut me a check for the difference.

Insurance companies are continually dealing with people trying to RIP them off. I guarantee you they have seen every trick in the book, and another little hint, if you have a less than stellar credit rating, THEY will question everything. Right or wrong, they will, that is just the way it is.

Just be up front with them, and get your **** back.......don't allow the insurance company to screw you, but also, in turn don't try to screw them.......
