I tell ya I think buying a new boat has turned into way too much hassel and is not worth it. I wish that I would of kept my old 89. Beware to all thous that read this, make sure you deal with quality marinas when buying or having a boat serviced because when ya really need them it sure would make it nice if they didn't give ya a bunch of BS. I try to do buisness with locals but if they are going to steal and screw friends and neighbors I will go somewhere else. I guess thats why they changed names and locations so many times and getting ready to do it again. Please beware of a N Ky marina cause they will get ya. You'll always be able to tell they are lieing because they will be talking.
Man I hear ya about the boat dealer thing. Some are as good as gold and others would be role models for buzzards. When I bought my Raider, it was over the phone and email to a delar in Washington State. Yep, we had to sort thru some disconnects and communications mistakes,on both our parts, but what I came to respect was that if they made a boo-boo, it was an honest mistake, or a misread email, and there seemed to be no intent to deny once we agreed on what really happened. They bellied up to their mistakes, made amends, and we work thru problems together to get a good solution for us both. To me the tell tale sign is when you are told things that are obviously wrong and a dealer with experience simply should be expected to know better. That signals a problem, and I just never hesitate to confront them with documented facts. Then if they crab on me, or gt defensive, I show then what a siz 44 waist pair of jeans look like from the back side as I hit the door headed for the truck. No sense arguing, just a simple, here's the facts, wait for a response, if they don't acknowledge the facts.....chow meatball!

Hang in there man, it will get better, things will get better overall. Little concellation, but atleast all the stuff you will have will be new. No to minimize it, if I could share one thing to help, it's to look for the good side and you'll find it.
