Does anyone know precisely (or close to it) where the record smallmouth was caught? I first heard the mouth of Illwill Creek, then later I heard he was trolling the cut behind Trooper Island.

Last Fall my brother & I tied up to Cactus Island and were fishing off the side. While standing on the East end, it suddenly occurred to me that the world record MAY have been caught not far at all from where I was standing.
