    Yep

I think it's because they are scared of it flooding again like 2 years ago. One things for sure if we have a drought this year I doubt we'll see full summer pool, and way higher water temperatures. Totally messed my fishing up last year!

    nolin lake level

I watch nolin's lake level quite often--i have never seen it get this low--except for when they are checking the gates. I cant remember seeing wax marina on the ground. Anybody know why the lake level's page is down >????????????????????????

I think that there isn't really a channel at wax any more, it seems that silt has built up over the years and that the bend in the river and marina cause it to build up even more. If you ask me I think that area needs to be dredged, we were there a while back and I been fishing Nolin all my life and it seems that the channel has disappeared. The lake isn't even down to winter pool.
Thats my opinion, what do you think?

we need some water, they pulled it to winter pool and we havn't had enough runoff to keep up with the minimal pull they let out.our farm ponds, that are usually running over by now, look they do the end of june,2-3ft low, hope we get some spring rain to fill em up or the cows will run out of water this summer.
when they pulled the crap of it when it was running out the spillway changed alot of places on the lake,de-stumped several good points, alot of mud settled in there around wax off the big flat there on the right.i noticed a difference in the channel and depths right in front of bartons run back in the fall before it got to winter pool.
