Anyone been up there. Wondering if the crappie bite has started yet
Come on spring time. I'm tired of this cold weather and in need of some sunshine!
I bet that there will be some crappie and bass caught this weekend. Better bring your rain gear.
Guess it's time to get the boat out of the garage and start getting it ready for the fishing season.
Im ready to catch something other than catfish. Hopeful to get out soon. But with a newborn on the way its gonna be tough
Been whacking the bass at bluegrass. My biggest is 6lbs4oz. Caught some good crappies too
Nice im gonna try and get up there sunday. I havent even bought a license yet
I've not been fishing yet. I'm getting lazy I guess. Hope to get out there sooner or later.
The crappie should be moving up to spawn soon. Just look at the trees that are in bloom right now. Bradford Pears are blooming and so are the pussy willow trees. Tulip trees or magnolia trees are in bloom as well. That's the sign that the crappie are in pre-spawn mode. The trees go by the length of day light and the temperatures. The trees know when it's time to bloom as the crappie know when it's time to spawn.
The amount of day light and the amount of night time go hand in hand and the animals respond to these light and dark periods.
