Headin out to taylorsville lake's tail waters with my dad and was wondering if anybody has been down there lately.
I'm sure he will be using minnows and I will be trying out some artificial lures.
Any info you folks might have would be great.

best advice is to fish between the walls. I use a jig tipped with a minnow and pick up crappie and a couple sauger from time to time. be aware that the water has been up for a little while now and if its too high your not catching much of anything. good luck
Fishing was slow today although I didn't hit it too hard.
The only bite I had came when I was fishing between the walls. So I think that is the best chances as of right now.
I overheard someone that came from the main lake say that the water temp was 44 degrees.
Good luck fishing folks spring is around the corner!!!
