Check out Timber Point Timber Pointe Resort / Lake Cumberland, located between Jamestown and Jamestown marina. I have stayed there a couple of times.

Ditto that. It's the only place I'll stay. The TimberPointe owners, Mike & Kim Crowe, are super people. Plenty of parking, outlets for extension cords, and the units are always clean. If you need an efficiency unit (stove, pots/pans, full frig, etc.) you will want to stay in the lodge directly behind the office vs the lodge to right of office. Enjoy your trip and give us a report when you return!

Just above the ramp at Jamestown is the cabins you can stay in. There is the lodge across the cosway but its really a hotel. We usually stay in the cabins at the top of the hill. This is at the Jamestown ramp not the State Park, if you have not been there before you can chuck a rock at the State Park from Jamestown but to drive there by car is almost 45 minutes.
The cabins are older but they are individual and decent, you can pull your boat right up to the cabin and plug in and in the morning you are 2 minutes from the ramp.

We have stayed at the M&M Sportsman's Lodge twice this year. Very nice, very clean, and for $59 a night you can't beat it. The owners are really nice people.
