    Problem with Steering Cables

I have a tracker tundra and steering the boat has become very difficult. I do not think the cables have broke. There is not a grease fitting on the bars and I tried some wd-40 to loosen up the steering, but that did not seem to help. Any suggestions on what the problem maybe?

You will need to replace the steering cable. This is very common with steering cables. They become corroded inside and there is no way to repair without replacement. There should be a number on the cable sleeve 1 ft. from the bar at the motor. Google teleflex steering cables to learn more about how to replace the cable for you specific motor. It's pretty easy with most boats. Hope this helps.
