    Rough River Conditions

I know someone said the lake was getting muddy earlier in the week but does anyone have a report on the conditions since the lake might have had some time to settle? Is it even muddier now or is it cleared up some? I will be going there tomorrow so I am just trying to get a feel for what I am in for! Thanks.

They started holding for summer pool today and the lake is at 478.3 ft. It is clearing some up in the creeks slowly.
They are only discharging 601 cfs. Anglers are catching fair amount of crappie with smaller being the norm.

Really nice limits of bass have been caught since last weekend.

The lake definitely heavy stained to muddy we put in at North Fork fished Tules muddy, headed towards Axtel Muddy didn't go any farther South, water temps in the mid 40's we did manage to find a wall holding fish in about 45 min I caught a 14.5" slot, lost at least a 5 at the boat landed a 3.5-4 and a fish over 4 all fish came off different baits and we fished about a 75 yd stretch back and fourth really the only bites we got all day but they hit and they hit aggressive good sign I have 2 tournaments there this week I will let you know I'm sure all the rain coming in this week will keep it muddy

If you don't mind me asking what type of baits did you catch them on? I will be there the whole last week of march.

Crank baits for the most part and a few jig fish, lake is muddy in areas with some debris, my tournaments didn't go so well Wed we had 1fish a 5.51 and today we had 1fish 15" keeper but there have been some **** nice fish weighed in multiple 4's and 5's pretty tough to get a bite but if you do probably going to be a good fish, this cold weather's not going to help but if the lake stabilizes its going to on Females are wanting to move up, big fish of the tournament today was 5.85 and her tail was already beat up hope this helps just cover water about the best advice I can give
