I'm headed down in June to Captiva and Bradenton myself. I think JD has his finger on the bite judging from his pics!!!! i would love to get down there and try his Kayak approach to saltwater fishing....He is good at it!l what kind of fishing you gonna do?? inshore? offshore??

Don I'm hoping to do alittle offshore fishing if the wife let's me, if not I'll hit a pier. I did notice on mapquest there are some jetti's down around where we are staying soooo I'll wet a line somewhere. We have been going down in the Destin area for years which is close to Jason and of course the wife picks Clearwater this year....Bummer. I no all about life gettin in the way for sure specially with a 1 year old and one gettin ready for college LOL. You get a chance I got a open seat or muddy shore when ever you can make it Chuck

I always see folks fishing that rock jetty in Clearwater. Of course I'm always there without a rod and reel!! Still would rather have a boat or yak and hit the backwater area.

Chuck, you've got more chins then the San Fransisco phone book.

That's why I keep my beard. A beard can help hide a whole lot of ugly.
