Broke the second largest guide on my 6ft6 casting Vendetta. Ceramic ring is gone, epoxy covering the thread has broken loose but the rod seems fine. Anyone know where I can get it fixed or can do it in the lexington or surrounding area.

If that was a Cumara or a Crucial, or any other high end shimano rod....Backwaters would give you a NEW one....over the counter.
I tell ya, I've damaged quite a bit of my higher end rods, and have never had a problem with getting a replacement.
Something to ponder.

If you don't find anywhere closer, I'm in Brownsville and can take care of it for you. You could bring it down or ship it, either one. Here's my site with more info: www.reelcleen.webs.com
I've never had the legend work on my rods but he did fix two curados for me and did an outstanding job - great turn around time and great price. If I ever have a damaged rod he will be the one I will take it too.
Then I'm glad I buy cheapo Ugly Stiks. They have always replaced mine, and I can afford the beer waiting for the replacement to arrive.
I can do it I am here in Louisville.
+1 on Legends work. Top notch, and good guy.
pastorbass and Bass man...Thanks for the stamps of approval guys!![]()
Thanks for all the recomendations, going to give Backwaters a try later this week. They are only about 30 min. from the house and it will give me a good reason to buy some stuff I dont really need! AbuGarcia will fix it for $10 but I have no idea how to send a 6'6" pole in the mail?
