My little girl is only 14 months old...but I can't wait to make some memories on the water with her.
It seems like yesterday that I was holding her for the first time, scared to death. Now she runs to me at the door with her arms out when I get home at night. I know what y'all mean about time flying...wow...
We'll be catching fish with a Snoopy pole before I turn around...
This post is priceless................I do remember every bit of those stories!!!! It is a pleasure to have a dad like I do!!!!!! By the way, we went to go see in my mind the best fishermen in the world, Kevin van dam at bass pro shops in Clarksville a few weeks ago!!!! Had a blast!!!! I just love fishing and hunting itself. It's just in my blood. You could ask anybody in my family that every shirt I have has either hunting, fishing, or iu on them!!!! Thank u very much dad!!!!!![]()
started my Daughter out fishing at an early age, she made friends with two little sisters in grade school. whos dad had passed away. she must have been telling them of the fun she had going fishing with me. the next thing I new, they were regular's with us on our little fishing trips. I taught them to catch Crappie and bluegill and they loved it. as my Daughter got older, during her high school years, I taught her to water ski, and when the water warmed and the fishing slowed, I found myself teaching most of her friends to water ski. then off to collage and less time for Dad. she is 32 now, hasn't been fishing with me for 10 years or more. her husbands Mother lives in FL and they went out in the Gulf on her boat. and were fishing for sharks, she sent me a text with a picture, that said you taught me well Dad, I'v caught the most sharks today. where does time go, it sure does slip away. so you younger guys with small children, make the most of it.
