Yep, I'll be selling the old one for a very good price because I want to move it fast. Still runs fine, recent trip at Dale Holler it pushed my 21 ft Toon, and 2 good sized anglers along at 68.7 mph on the GPS. (for 20 or 30 seconds till the popsicle headache slowed me down)

When I got it 6 years ago, it had 75 hours on a factory powerhead that had been replaced under warranty. I don't know how many hours it has on it now.

Over the years I've owned it, the engine has never let me down except the starter failed during a night tournament on Barren 2 or 3 years ago. I've put a starter and alternator on it...aside from plugs and water pumps that's it. I don't run hard very often, 40-50 mph cruise speed most of the time, and I've always warmed it at idle when taking it off the trailer.

It does need a Throttle Position Indicator (TPI is around $160 online) because I get an alarm on the smart gauge every now and then. Turn it off, tap the hotfoot, start it up, and the alarm is gone. I've also cleared the alarm by jiggling the throttle linkage with the cover off, so I'm sure it's the linkage or TPI.

Anyway, I'm thinking of asking 2 grand. I may be wrong, but IMO that's a heck of a good price for a running Merc 225 Optimax DFI engine.
